Blair: Vanessa, I think I'd like to help, with this little project... Would you come, and help me find another pair of scissors?
[They go to the bathroom]
Blair: It's SO nice, what you're doing for your friend Dan. Helping his girlfriend, make his Christmas present. Serena is so grateful, cause she like to see the best in people. I, like to see the truth?
Vanessa: Oh yeah, what's that?
Blair: I think you like Dan a little too much. Just thought I should let you know, someone's watching. Merry Christmas!
Heee. I adore this scene. It's get's an HM even though it's not really a Blair/Serena scene, but it's Blair defending Serena, and looking out for her. I really love that. I love the little "Merry Christmas" line as Blair was holding the scissor in her hands, and how it was all cheerful, after she threatened V's ass. Heeeeeee!
10. 1x04 - Bad News Blair
[You take everything!]
Serena: Blair, wait. Why are you so mad?
Blair: Why am I mad? You mean, why aren't I furious?! I can't believe for one second I thought that it would be different this time.
Serena: You thought what would be different?
Blair: You couldn't deal with the spotlight shining on me for once, could you?
Serena: What are you talking about? I was told that we were doing this together. What, did you not get my message?
Blair: What about this morning then? When you glanced at the call sheet, did you see my name on it? When I wasn't in hair and make-up, didn't that seem strange? When the dressing room only had your name on it, what, did you think they just forgot?
Serena: I was told that you were running late, and they asked me to do some test shots first. Blair, they told me you wanted me here.
Blair: And you believed them?
Serena: Look, Blair, I encouraged you to do this. Why would I try to steal something from you that I pushed you to do?
Blair: Because you take everything from me! Nate, my mom!
Serena: Blair!
Blair: You can't even help it. It's who you are. I just thought that maybe this time it would be different. I should have known I'd be wrong
So, yeah... This scene is intense, but I love it. I love Blair getting out how she felt and being insecure because of always being second best next to Serena, it was just a really honext moment, and I love it.
9. 1x01 - Pilot
[We need each other]
Serena So, how's your mom doing? With the divorce and everything.
Blair So, my dad left her for another man. She lost 15 pounds, got an eye lift, it's been good for her.
Serena: Blair, I'm really sorry.
Blair: Yeah I could tell. Since, you didn't call or write, the entire time this happened.
Serena: Yeah I know, it was just... Boarding school.
Blair: I don't even know why you went to boarding school, to begin with... Do you know how it felt, calling your house, when you didn't show up to school, and having your mom say... 'Serena didn't tell you, that she moved to Connecticut?'
Serena: I just... I had to go, I had to get away... From everything! Please, just trust me.
Blair: How can I trust you? When I feel like I don't even know you.
Serena: Let's fix that. I saw you at school, with Kati and Izzy. I get it. I don't want to take, any of that away from you -
Blair: Cause it's just yours to take if you want it.
Serena: No! That's not what I mean. I miss you. I just want things to go back, to the way they used to me. I just want things to go back, to the way they used to be, Ya know? Walking to school together, dancing on tables in our underwear, midnight swimming at your moms country house. You're like my sister, and with our families... We need eachother.
Blair: Well... You missed some classic Eleanor Waldorf meltdowns. If it wasn't such a tragedy, it would've been funny. Actually, it kind of was.
[They laugh]
Serena I wish I could've been there.
Blair: Well, you are now... I have to meet Nate. Kind of have something special planned.
Serena: Well, I don't want to keep you, but um...
[They hug]
Serena I love you, B.
Blair: I love you too, S.
This was like the calm before the storm. Things had to get good, before they got bad and good again, and I love the "We're sisters. We need each other" line.
08. 1x13 - A Thin Line Between Chuck and Nate
[I'm sorry]
Serena: Hello?
Blair: Hey, S. It's B. Two things. First... I'm sorry. About Dan, about the Gossip Girl blast and about not telling you about Nate.
Serena: Okay.
Blair: You were just so hard on me about Chuck. I didn't want to be judged for sleeping with them both.
Serena: I understand. Apology accepted.
Blair: That was fast. If I were you, I would've made me work for it a little bit harder.
Serena: Well, I think you've suffered enough.
Blair: And second thing...
Serena: Wait. that's already, like, three things.
Blair: I took the test. I'm not pregnant.
Serena<: Aah! oh, my gosh! Are you kidding me?
Blair: Aah!
Serena: Oh, I am so happy. I would have had no idea what to wear to a paternity hearing.
Blair: Clean slate?
Serena: Oh, clean slate. Oh, I'm so happy
Such a great scene, I love how Blair apologizes, since we don't get to see that really. I also love the happy squeeing they did together, even if things got messy. It's a nice moment.
7. 1x06 - A Handmaiden's Tale
[I trust you now]
Serena: Look, if you don't want me to come tonight, it's totally understandable.
Blair: What?! No, I want you to come. In fact, I was hoping, you'd be one of my ladies. Give Nate the last clue.
Serena: Are you sure you want me too?
Blair: Tonight's all about starting over. I trust you, and Nate.
Serena: Well, then [bows] I will be honored to serve you my queen.
[They laugh]
Aww Blair trusting Serena? And um... I adore Serena's head bow thing, It's so cute. Also loved them laying in B's bed together, even if ya know it's not sexual. ;).
6. 1x08 - Seventeen Candles
[You can talk to me]
Serena: Blair! Blair, stop! You can talk to me.
Blair: We ended it! I wanted to tell you, but.. A part of me felt that if I didn't say it out loud, then it wouldn't be true.
Serena: Shhh! Shhh!
[Pulls Blair into a hug as she cries]
Blair: It was my birthday wish, for us to get back together...
[Serena wipes away a tear]
Blair: If it's OK, I just want to be alone for a second.
This scene break my heart. Poor Blair! But I loved Serena being there for her, and comforting her, and the wiping of the tear? Love! Just guh!
05. 1x03 - Poison Ivy
[White flag waving]
Blair: Whenever something is bothering you I can always find you here.
Serena: Here for another cat fight? What's that?
Blair: A letter. I wrote it to you when you were away at boarding school. I never sent it.
"Dear Serena: My world is falling apart, and you're the only one who would understand. My father left my mother for a 31-year-old model. A male model. I feel like screaming because I don't have anyone to talk to. You're gone, my dad's gone, Nate's acting weird... Where are you? Why don't you call? Why did you leave without saying goodbye? You're supposed to be my best friend. I miss you so much. Love, Blair."
Serena: Why didn't you send it? I would've...
Blair: And you would have what? You knew all of this and you didn't do anything.
Serena: I didn't know what to say to you, or even how to be your friend, after what I did. I'm so sorry.
Blair: Eric told me what happened. I guess your family is going through a hard time too.
Spotted in Central Park: two white flags waving. Could an Upper East Side peace accord be far off? So, what will it be: Truce? Or consequences? We all know one nation can't have two queens...
This scene, kills me, and still makes me tear up. That letter? Oh man, and Leighton and Blake really rocked that scene. Especially Leighton.
04. 1x04 - Bad News Blair
[That's Sideborg Spice to you]
Serena: Hey! First of all, you look amazing.
Blair: I know...
Serena: But look, can I give you a little tip?
Blair: How did I know this was coming?
Serena: No, look all you need to do... it maybe loosen up a little. Shake it out! Maybe we could be goofy! Like when we were 10 and we would dance around to Genie in A Bottle in your mom's clothes...
Blair : Help me... Help me.
Serena: Okay, um.... act like a tiger. Rawr!
Blair : Rawr.
Serena: No you gotta...RAWR.
Blair: Rawwwwr!
Serena: Give me more tiger in that jungle!
Blair: RAWWWWR!
Serena: Let's do a prettier one now. You're venus in the half shell, right? So just... Oh let's do something crazy like Britney with the umbrella! Go! I'm the car, I'm the car! Posh Spice in America, go!
Blair: That's sideborg Spice to you...
Serena: Okay, you gotta pout more and strike! Remember I taught you the hand on the hip? Oh it looks so good! you're doing so good! look how good you are! You got it!
Blair: You're staying here, I need you.
Guh! This scene is sooo adorable. I love it when they have fun together, and I loved Serena supporting Blair, and pushing her, and encouraging her, it' just so sweet, and adorable. I loved the Britney with the umbrella bit, that part always makes me laugh
03. 1x09 - Blair Waldorf Must Pie
[A place more sane]
Blair: I've been waiting for it to happen.
[Serena kneels down and sits beside Blair]
Serena: I didn't see your dad downstairs.
Blair: My mom just decides everything, ya know? Everything in the world, is just totally up to her.
Serena: Ohh!
[Takes Blair's head and cradles it, and kisses her head, while Blair cries.]
Serena: Hey, let's get out of here.
Blair: I'm not going back to that party.
Serena: No. I mean like out of here, out of here. Out of this apartment, a place more sane.
Blair: Any place would qualify
[Serena moves Blair's hair out of her face, wipes her tears, and cradles her head once more.]
I adore this scene... Obviously. I love ho even after a huge fight, Serena is there for Blair. I just loved the tenderness of this scene, and another scene that breaks my heart. I also loved how Blair's eating disorder was not like soapy, but dealt with really well.
02. 1x04 - Bad News Blair
[Besties]
Blair: It ended up being a very important day for me. I just thought it was going to be more fun.
Serena: I know, me too. Hey! You know what? Who says it still can't be? Come on!
This just in, S and B committing a crime of fashion. Who doesn't love a five finger discount? Especially if one of those fingers is the middle one? Everyone knows you can't choose your family, but you can choose your friends. And In a world ruled by blood lines and bank accounts it pays to have a pal. As much as a bff can make you go WTF, there's no denying we'd all be a little less rich without them. And Serena and Blair? They do besties better than anyone.
1. 1x13 - A Thin Line Between Chuck and Nate
[I'll fight with you]
Serena: Blair.
Blair: What you want a lift to J.F.K.?
Serena: Your mom said you're going to France tonight.
Blair: She has a big mouth.
Serena: B, I'm your best friend. She was shocked I didn't know.
Blair: Well now you do.
Serena: What I do know is how you felt when I left and didn't tell you.
Blair: Is there a reason you're here-
Serena: Stay. Don't let some stupid scandal make you run away like it did me. Like it does everyone in this world.
Blair: Everything's horrible. My whole life is falling apart.
Serena: So? Rebuild it. You're a Waldorf remember? People don't tell you who you are, you tell them. Stay and Fight. I'll fight with you.
Blair: I'm so embarrassed, I'm so...
Serena: So what? Start over. It can be done. I should know. We'll get through this together.
Blair: Promise?
Serena: Promise.

Oh god, I fucking heart this scene sooo much. It always makes me cry a little. It's just so sweet. Serena really is a great friend, better then a lot of people would be I think, which Blair really needs. I love that she was the one who got Blair to stay, and that Blair won't fight alone. I can't wait to see them take over the world.
