she's crafty! (x-posterrrific)
.yesterday..
it was a whim, after reading an article in Blueprint magazine about wallpaper headboards/decorative wallpaper uses. i decided instead of wallpaper, i'd use fabric. while going about this, i had to get jer's input cuz i do crazy crafty things, he comes home from work and is, dare i say, unimpressed. we went shopping for fabric (yes..he was into it, go figure) he first came up with this:
which scared me quite a bit. the prospect of ronald mcdonald watching over me is darned terrifying, if you ask me. then she showed me a beautiful asian inspired fabric that was perfect! imagine that. jer's got a good eye sometimes..
it's basicially fabric, batting, and red & gold cording to give it the finished look. here's the masterpiece:
