Elliott’s Winter Carnival 2010 + FPS Visit (1/16/10 - 1/17/10)
What’s a great way to start off the new year? A free party! (Well minus hotel and travel expenses) :) With rieshal’s car in much better working order than last time :P, we both headed up early Saturday morning with zorinlynx. Elliott’s events have been getting better each time and this was no exception. Not only was the pavilion more completed than before, the organization and food was stepped up as well. Salmon is one of my favorite fish, so no doubt I was very happy with lunch :). Rieshal hates just about all seafood so his lunch was limited :P.
A temporary addition to the arcade was a pinball game called Party Animal. Many played it over the course of the party and it held up pretty well (it is a bit old and still needs some work). After playing some games and chatting, dinner was served. As messy as the ribs were, they were quite good :D. More critters showed up as night started to fall, including an appearance by King Elliot himself. He knighted darkwolf72 for well, being a cool wolf hehe ;D. Though I’m not one for dancing, Rieshal and I couldn’t help but shake our tails on the dance floor for a bit before calling it a night.
The next morning Rieshal, Zorin and I stopped by to catch Simba’s famous breakfast before heading over to yappyfox’s for the Funday PawPet Show. As always it is a joy to be a guest on the show :). Seeing it from this angle is a reminder of just how much behind-the-scenes stuff it takes to make the show possible and insane hehe. A surprise interview was given to us near the end of the show, which got a bit personal/naughty near the end of it ;P. Thanks again Yappy for having us on the show! *Snugs* :)
