writing and the demise of geocities

Thought I'd talk about fandom-y stuff since I haven't in a while.

Work is starting to become more routine (finally!) so I'm gaining my creative side back. Which is good because I missed it! I'll hopefully be starting back to school in the fall, if not then definitely in spring so I'm not sure how that'll affect my writing, but I'm going to try to not let it.

First off, I think I've regained my direction for Dragonfly, and I want to work on my SasuNaru story too. So my plan is alternate them. If I get on a good run with one I'll stick with it, but what I'd like to do is try to get at least one scene done each week. I know that I'll have to do a major reworking of Dragonfly once I finish to make sure I've tied up all the loose ends, but still I'd love to see it done by December of this year. As for the SasuNaru story ... well I make no promises there. ^_^

Secondly (and I know I've said this before, but this time I really mean it) I'm going to be posting my art here. Good and bad. I need to build up my tolerance again for group critiques.

Thirdly, I need to find a good host who has package deals with domain names included. Preferably one that's around $100, I really don't want to spend much more than that. Renewing once a year doesn't bother me, so long as it's not a 'we don't warn you before we draft it from your bank account' type.

Lastly, to the guy who took my screen name over at deviantart: why? Did you not even look to see if there was anyone else on the web with that name? I mean, yeah it's unusual, but still? I guess that's why it surprised me so. O.o My name! :P
