Law Ball and...photos!
Oo I've just eaten a big piece of chocolate cake and now i feel all fat and a bit sick really. Had a good weekend..Graham and I scrubbed up and went to the Law Ball on Friday and it was briilliant, lots of fun. I've made a special effort to put pictures on as we are looking ok!
Soo we got there and there was a red carpet up to the door, haha, then we had champagne, we had about 5 glasses each (Graham probably about 8) as it was free and nice. Then there was lawyery speeches and we had a meal, oo and everyone got a party bag with sweets and bubbles and things in it. My curls had dropped down so it was ok, I didn't look like a poodle. Theenn after food there was entertainment. There was a chocolate fountain! It was the most amazing thing i've ever seen - strawberries and doughnuts and marshmallows and stuff and skewers to stick them under constantly flowing chocolate..genius. There was a popcorn machine too so I felt a bit full at this point, and fortune tellers but i missed them because there was a big queue of girls waiting. Theen gambling games, big jenga and stuff and a surfboarding thing which Graham went on and got thrown off, i feel a bit bad because i made him go on to see what it did and it hurt his knee. Oh yeh and a inflatable twister which i used as a bouncy castle, i loved that, and a band of what looked to be fibs and then a dj. We had our photo taken too but i've looked at it on the internet and my arm looks really big (?) and i've got my eyes closed in the nicest one so i don't think i'll get one. So yeh it was great and we got a little drunk on all the free drink.
That was a weeks worth of entertainment really so i haven't done much else. I'm slowly plodding along with my dissertation and module work. Got my exam results today, 68 and 66 so i'm pleased because i did work hard for those ones and usually get shiite marks for exams. That means my module marks for last term are 69 and 65 so all is well. I like to think this will de-stress me for a bit but we'll see. Anyway have to go and watch a film about highlanders now, Julia is making me, further encouraging the Scottish sex book obsession that's running through our house. Aww and it's mine and Graham's one year anniversary on Wednesday so we're going for a nice meal somewhere, aww awww etc.
