Holy Double-Standards, Batman!
This article amused me to no end!
The gist of it is, the Religious Right fought and fought to change the law so religious groups could send event announcements home with kiddies along with their regular camp, sports, and drama club fliers. Well they're sorry now! See, aparently some local UUs thought that this new-found freedom applied to ALL religous groups, and sent out a flier for their pagan Yule celebration. THEN some athiests started sending out fliers for their 'summer camp for free-thinkers'.
UH-oh.
So now there's an uproar. Time to cancel the program! Damn those politicians for discriminating against Christianity by saying if you want to blur the distinction between Church and State you have to blur it for everyone!!
