I just got my last wisdom tooth taken out yesterday at around 10:00 in the morning. It wasn't nearly as bad as when I got all three taken out at one time and I quickly recovered within 6-12 hours (the other time required about three days before I was even near to coherent much less stand up and move). I can technically chew now (I had a cereal bar - ripped into little tiny pieces of course - this morning along with some jell-o and tea) though big meals like lunch and dinner still provide much a formidable enemy. But either way, I'm finally done with oral surgery (hopefully at least for his life time)!
(LOL I like pinstripes!) You probably can't tell but my face does kind of feel like a pufferfish and there is a bit of swelling on the left cheek. Though I'm feeling better that's not to say I'm feeling all that superb. A bit bored, actually, haha. I can't move the left side of my mouth so I end up talking a bit funny as well as having this wicked sideways grin. /end camera!whore.
I'm planning to be out most of the day today buying food (for survival) and supplies (for cosplay. Among other end of the year things like thank you cards. And also looking into a new laptop, finally and a camera). In cosplay news, I've managed to dig up several of my grandmama's old patterns she got in Germany and some other ones she originally had in Taiwan (best of both worlds, haha). I'm planning on attending Anime Weekend Atlanta in Georgia sometime in September before classes really start lynching me. For that one I'm doing a Nabari no Ou cosplay of Miharu (in the sweet company of
aoi_no_tenshi who will be my Yoite ♥) which, at the moment, I'm very close to being done with since all I have to do is finish sewing the school blazer. I'm hoping that some time further down in the year (if not another day of AWA) I'll be able to whip out a Final Fantasy XII (I know, oh my god) cosplay of Ashe's funeral dress. This one I really want to complete though I know how much time needs to be invested in it however, I'm already starting on props (namely, the jewelry pieces of her dress) and once my grandmama mails over one of her off-shoulder dress patterns I'll be able to start on sewing the actual costume. Wish me luck~!
In even happier news, this weekend I'm wonderfully booked with activities (we are ignoring the fact that I actually do have a bunch of Final Projects to be working on. Er):
diamondsparks is coming over Monday morning and we'll be going to see The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian first thing in the morning at 10:00 (LOL 8D) then coming back to make lunch. Or something. We haven't planned that far yet; we're too excited about the mere concept of seeing each other :). Then on Tuesday most likely I"ll be hanging out with
oldstarnewshine at her Dad's work where apparently he has this whole room of billion-dollar entertainment systematics where we will be allowed to be our crazy fangirlish selves and pimp our general Winchester-esque awesomeness (Sammy ♥s me some Dean, haha). This is good as it leaves enough time during today and Sunday (no work - teaching at the Chinese School, guh - yes!) for me to actually scoot some school work in. All in all, a well balanced weekend, I think.
Four-Day Weekend equals ULTIMATE WIN in my book.
