there's a relatively new website up that's kinda awesome...if you're a self-proclaimed wordsmith [like me], or wanting to improve your vocab skills for personal edification/a test/to impress your friends - this site will work for you.
the best part about that is the fact that it's multi-tasking.
how? cuz every time you match a word with its correct definition you will earn 20 grains of rice to be donated to the UN World Food Program. now-it's quite true that 20 grains of rice isn't much. in fact, from my calculations, it would take ~7,250 grains of rice to create a cup of cooked rice. basically, what that means is....
you better get cracking!
i [having a quite addictive personality, which tends to affect my life in various and sundry ways, including (i think) my tendency to digress....] have already raised about a 1/2 pound of rice.
so. go increase your vocabulary at FreeRice.com. They are funded by advertisers, and do not operate at a profit. Do some good, and learn a word.

'nother lil tidbit for ya: saw point of grace [for the first time: live] tonight. they're actually a little bit awesome...a lot even. and i'm seriously love-ing this new song they've got called How You Live (Turn Up the Music) - look up the words [maybe i'll post 'em later] - it's a really great song.
random life moments:
~saw steve green last night. he's getting old.
~got a lot o folks to pray for - mortality can be a discomfitting thing.
~watched the ant bully - that's actually kinda cute
~dude. i think i'm gonna be 29 at my next bday. yeah. [i know]
~ever long to tell someone - just lay it out there on the table - 'you know i love you, right?' [why does that sound so much easier to say in my head?]
