camping trip 2005
camping is so much fun....why did it have to end?!?!?!
well, left early thrusday morning. drove for about i dunno, 3 1/2-4 hours. finally reached kingsriver. set up camp, put the boat it. swam in the icecold river till i couldnt feel me feet nemore. which is basially right when u step into the water, is ssssoooo cold.
our trailer that we rented was TINY! it barely fit all of us. so i slept with my aunt and cousin for the first 2 nights.
friday, woke up had breakfast. went swimming, played basketball with my cousin. took all my other cousins, sisters and brother for a walk. saw about 4 or 5 tiny black kittens, very cute....dont kno who they belonged too....then went back to the camp site. went to the pool around 8ish and when we walked back the river was so cold and the air was so hot that the river was steaming....kinda like in a cartoon when like, an old witch is rowing down a dark foggy swampy river type thing. it was really creepy, ive never see that out of the 10 years that weve been going there.
so then, jake britta kristy and me stayed up a little bit jsut talking, takeing a few pics played cards, then went to bed.
on saterday my aunt, ariel and michael came up. they got there around 10ish...so, we bascically did the same thing....swim, sit, play cards, later at night, me ariel and michael went to play basketball and it wasnt such a good idea to play with no shoes on, since the court was a little hot, and ariel slide her foot and got a friction brun....ouch...cuz some guys came u and asked if we wanted to play a two on two game. then afterwards we went to the pool and one of the guys stayed.....y i have no clue...then around 11 we went to shower, then my dad drove by to see if we were still alive, he drove us bad and we went into the tent, played cards, and feel asleep.
the next day, did somewat the same thing...me and ariel went on the tube...scary but fun hehe....ive never actally layed on my stomach ive always sat inside so it was a bit different. then ariel went home with her mom and janet went home too....michael stayed.
packed up on monday. played in the water for a little while. tried to play in the archade but like, the pin ball game ate my quaters and the ari hocky was missing the puck. so walked back to the showeres and were on the road.
i had an opprotunity to drive the boat this year....but, i chickened out...michael and kristy drove it, but i didnt....cuz im a big CHICKEN!!! hehe
