The Working Professional's Pause

Last week I graduated from PennState (GO PENNSTATE!) with my Bachelor's of Science in Nursing.

Now that I am not hounded with seemingly endless papers and other homework I don't know what to do with my free time. I've been cleaning and cooking more often. This free time, which I knew was coming, is part of the reason why I decided to start blogging again.

However, I feel incredibly underproductive since I graduated. When I'm at work I feel like I do not have a million tasks to complete at home so I don't rush to go home. I'm not used to this lull. Don't get me wrong, I am sure in time new tasks will arise.

I started a nano tank for red volcano shrimp. They are quite interesting! I used to have a fascination with Sea Monkey, these guys are much better. This is one hobby I have taken back up. I just have to watch myself though as I do have the tendency to get too passionate with my hobbies and I end up needing to "do it all."

At some point I would like to write more meaningful posts on events I have mentioned previously... However due to the very nature of those events I'm not quite ready. Some day, some time. Therapists do say that, sometimes, the best therapy is to "talk about it."
