And I've been putting off signal-boosting classmates etc cause I haven't had the spoons to look up everyone.  Incomplete signal boost post to follow, though, cause it's week five already!

Short poem today.  Sonnet.
Brief notes, 'cause tendonitis is acting up.  But want to say: indirectly inspired by one of papersky 's older poems.  Got me thinking of sensory stuff.

I wrote it a couple weeks ago when emily_jiang was visiting to say hi to (and feed) clarionites, and she and I had a midnight till *mumble a.m.* gossip and poem-writing fest :)

inhuman.  Sliced onions left

Yes.  There is a thunderstorm here.  In SoCal.  It's hot and humid and feels like some other climate zone entirely.

WHY I thought I could put a book of hers down halfway is entirely beyond me.  It doesn't even happen on rereads.  Of the short stories.
