They're not so good.
If the test was actually comparable to the one I had in the US on Dec 14 2010, my stimulated cortisol production this time round was *worse*. We have reasons to think it's not comparable; but still, not good.
(Other pituitary function is fine, yay; not sure they checked other adrenal function, but if there was general adrenal malfunction I would KNOW. So no urgent/panicky worries there either.)
This is all consistent with me not feeling great, of course. Next question is what's causing it; next action item is figure out how to answer that question. The endocrinologist has suggested a course of action I think is basically sensible (taper cortisol once more, test again in 2 months) but we may want other tests, etc, so time to investigate that. Whee.
What spoons do not go into ST in the next couple days will need to go into this.
