Summary: when ohno meets his new boss he starts liking him immediately, while his boss, sakurai sho, likes teasing the cute man to no end
While at work everyone caught the pathetic image of Sho dragging his feet in the morning. Aiba and Jun looked at each other and thought he deserved it. As the older man moped everyone gave him a weird stare. He was soon getting irritated by everyone looking at him. “what the fuck are you all looking at?!” he flared up and everyone went back to work.
When Sho got home he was reminded of what he did and now he feels like a total jerk. He sat on the bed and rolled over onto Satoshi's side. As always his pillow smelled just like lavender. Sho snuggled into the pillow more and more until he imagined him hugging Satoshi. He missed his voice and his chubby cheeks.
After just two days Sho was already breaking down. He rolled over hugging the pillow tight crying how he missed his puppy. He picked up his phone hoping to call Satoshi but was disappointed when he didn't answer after the fifth time Sho dialed the number. After rolling around for five hours Sho just gave up on sleep. He looked at the clock to see it was four o’clock. He had a good two hours before he should get up and get to work.
He was moping around while getting ready then he headed for the office way too early just hoping maybe he could see Ohno there at work. After four hours of waiting and Jun and Aiba were already there he gave up hoping that Ohno was going to come. He wished he never said those things to him. He just want to cuddle with his Satoshi.
Another week passed Ohno was missing Sho badly, really badly. He hasn’t been going to the office just to avoid Sho altogether. He’s been dreaming about him and he always wake up with a problem. When he looked around he saw that Aiba was gone and then he heard noises from downstairs.
He creaked the door opened slightly and he could see the new couple on the couch as Aiba was on top of Jun rocking his hips as he sat on Jun's lap. Ohno quickly closed the door and grabbed his clothes. He shouldn’t be barging in on a newlywed couple’s life like this.
After a few minutes of rushing around and gathering his stuff he had tripped and fell on his leg. Luckily nothing was hurt, too badly. He might have twisted his ankle but that’s it. He could hear Aiba and Jun rush up the stairs and saw them open the door wide open.
“Oh-chan!” the younger screamed “are you alright?!” he screamed and Ohno just smiled shyly “it’s nothing really.” He said and Aiba and Jun sighed relieved. Aiba then noticed the bag next to Ohno and was confused “Where are you going?” he asked and Ohno just looked down.
“Unless you made up with Sho you aren’t going anywhere!” the brown haired man protested and Ohno sighed “I’m just in the way. You two are newlyweds you shouldn’t have to worry about someone like me.” Ohno said and Aiba looked at him as Jun crossed his arms “and where exactly is there for you to go? I don’t trust you to stay with Nino, he barely even feeds himself.” Jun said making a point as Ohno only looked down “this is getting out of hand you're talking to Sho. Now!”
Jun grabbed the older man wrist as Aiba confusingly followed after picking up Ohno’s bag. “But Jun it’s three in the morning.” Ohno said and the young man ignored “if he’s getting a good sleep without you there I’m gonna kill him.” Jun said and Ohno just wonder what to do and before he knew it he was at Sho's place.
Jun knocked on his door loudly not caring if the neighbors complained and quickly he found the door to be opened up by Sho with an anxious look to his eyes as he noticed Jun and Aiba who blocked Ohno out of his view, his face fell and stood there slumping over slightly “what is it?” he asked not with much happiness to his voice.
“You got your boyfriend worried sick. So apologize kiss, make up or whatever, just don’t do it again or make him cry because I’ll come after you myself.” Jun said because he didn’t want his best friend to make the stupidest mistake of his life. When Sho saw Ohno looking down he was happy to see him but felt extremely guilty as well “I’m sorry.” He said and Ohno looked up.
“I just….I just don’t want you to leave me. I shouldn’t have jump to conclusions.” Sho spoke from his heart and Ohno looked him and slowly walked up to Sho throwing his arms around the larger man “I’m sorry for worrying you. I missed you.” He said and Sho felt so happy and rubbed Ohno's head “Okay you lovebirds.” Aiba smiled as he skipped back the car while Jun said goodbye.
Ohno and Sho sat on the couch awkwardly. “Um….” Sho hummed scratching the back of his head. “Jun said you were stressed out.” Sho said and Ohno just looked at him “I’m sorry.” Sho apologized and Ohno just leaned to the side letting his head rest on Sho's sloping shoulder. “Then will you make it up to me?” he asked and Sho looked at him “anything for you.” He said making Ohno smiled.
The next morning Sho noticed something strange about Satoshi. As the older man laid there naked he could see the bulge in the shorter man’s abdomen. He really didn’t think nothing of it and got up. He pulled out the box in his closet and opened it. It was what he was planning on giving Satoshi on valentine’s day.
Sho pulled it out and turned around. He grabbed Satoshi's hand gently and placed the object on his ring finger next to the finger which Satoshi wore his Christmas present. He gently placed his hand back down and went towards the kitchen.
His goal was to make Satoshi a delicious breakfast. As he tried his fifth time making the omelet he was successful, since it’s not burnt, too sweet or too salty although it may be too fattening with all the cheese. Satoshi wandered in with Sho's jogging pants on rubbing his eyes and still didn’t notice the foreign band on his hand.
“Ohayou.” He mumbled as he walked tiredly to Sho who quickly placed a kiss on his pouty lips. “Ohayou puppy~” he hugged the older man’s waist as the man just cuddled to Sho. “Hm~?” he hummed as he noticed the food. “I made breakfast!” Sho smiled and Ohno just grinned. As they sat down to eat, that’s when Ohno saw the diamond ring on his finger.
Sho saw his shocked face and just kept eating like nothing happened. “s-s-Sho? W-what’s t-this?” Ohno asked starting to panic. “I kinda want you to be with me forever. If you don’t want to then that’s fine.” He said. He tried acting cool like he could go either way but his heart stopped waiting for an answer. It took a good five minutes of silence before Ohno opened his mouth.
A/N: TADA! okay i tried but i couldnt make sho suffer too much as ohno was suffering as well. and jun grew sick and tired of them not talking to each other. and jun will come after sho if he ever makes satoshi cry again. and suprise sho's little present suprises ohno, will he say yes or no, well you probably know the answer and sho is still a little stupid clueless.
