Strategy 52 - A Bad Night [Video]
[It's an odd time for anyone to be working so intently. But Kaiba is, and the arcade door is unlocked and open for anyone self-sufficient to handle themselves while he's in the Arcade office. Currently, the LP clicks on to a cluttered desk, with computer chips and mechanical parts all over the place. Kaiba is putting a chip into a small mechanical device, soldering it in with a well practiced touch, while the larger empty frame of a Duel Disk sits nearby. Under those parts, you might be able to see another map of Salkia, written all over, with parts of it completely blacked out. There aren't many of those. There is also a To-Do list on a Post-it note that is too small to read from here. He doesn't even look up while he speaks, but looks a little less tired than usual.]
Pegasus, I have your prize. Are we doing this, or not? I have other things I'd rather focus on if it's not happening.
Mokuba, I will still be....hunting tonight. Don't wait up for me, but you have the puppy to yourself. I won't need him further.
[He finishes soldering the chip in, and turns off the tool. One hand runs absently through his hair, ending all the way down at the base of his neck.] Hn.....a haircut, after this. They probably won't be open so late...maybe during lunch...what time is it anyway?...
[The loud noise of the DDR machine flaring to life catches Kaiba's attention, and he frowns.] Who would be playing that now?
[He gets up, and turns off the LP.]
