I've got my very first loaf of homemade bread rising in the kitchen thanks to a site recced by 6beforelunch. I've made bread before, but I haven't tried it in years so I thought I'd start simple. I made not one, but two pies. I'd planned on the pumpkin, but then I had all these pecans and a bottle of Karo syrup and I haven't made pecan pie in... a couple of years, at least. So, now I have two pies. I don't even really need one. But they're so *pretty*!
