Between
Gateworld and this week's TV Guide, there's a ton of spoilers.
'Counterstrike' will air on August 25th and be episode 7 of Season 10. The pictures really don't tell much of a story, but the reading the spoilers will.
Reading between the lines, it appears that this might be the episode with the 'controversial Daniel' stuff. There is supposed 'bonding' between Daniel and Vala and Adria confronts them. I guess she probes Daniel's mind or something like that. This episode sounds like it'll be might be hard to take. I'm looking forward to it, but... sheesh.
But then, TV guide suggests that something also happens between Mitchell and Vala when she accompanies him to his class reunion. Of course, that's a totally different ep. Okay, that has *got* to be better than it sounds. The scenario sort of reminds me of a bad sitcom.
'Insiders' has to be the ep with the icky, weird-looking alien autopsy thing. You can find spoiler pics of that on the SciFi site. No one else we know in that photo. At least not that I can see. No pics of Daniel in this one, and it airs the week before 'Counterstrike'.
Also Robert Cooper, in an interview in TV Guide, sort of implies that a future Stargate movie will feature both Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis casts. Hmmm. That's thought-worthy. I am looking forward to seeing them together tomorrow night. I've always thought that some SG-1 cast could move over to Atlantis if SG-1 failed. But hell, with both series stumbling right now... who knows?
Gateworld also announced in the past few days that SciFi is going to delay the second half of the season for, like 7, months for both SG-1 and Atlantis. Once this ten episodes is finished, we won't get to see the second half of the season until March of next year. Not sure how this will affect the UK viewers. I suppose it's possible that they'll have seen the entire second half of the shows before we even get to see one of them. Cripes. It feels like they're shooting themselves in the foot with this decision. The ratings for this season of the two shows is already dismal.
C'mon people, watch! It won't kill you, I promise!
Please, no comments on how much SG-1 has sucked the past two seasons. I've still found it very enjoyable.
Meh, I've pretty much failed at getting new viewers for Stargate. I've won a few over, but not all that many.
