Seen all over the place:
Everyone has things they blog about. Everyone has things they don't blog about. Challenge me out of my comfort zone by telling me something I don't blog about, but you'd like to hear about, and I'll write a post about it. Ask for anything: latest movie watched, last book read, political leanings, thoughts on something, favorite type of underwear, explain an interest, whatever.
In other news, I got my new (to me) table onto the patio, broke down the old one for trash day tomorrow and then went out and got a sun umbrella for the new table (poor Enza would be horrified by a *giant* umbrella!). Then I had to get a stand thing for it. Which weighed a freaking ton. Trust me, that umbrella is going *nowhere*. Most everything was on clearance at Lowe's, so I don't feel very bad for spending the money. Even those little dangly thingy's on the umbrella. $5. I had to have them.
There's my laptop, a beer (Fat Tire), a giant mug of iced tea and my old dog show rug. It's one of those things I bought for $50 from a guy set up in a parking lot. Might as well get some use out of it. I also bought a hanger for the bright yellow hose, but I'm going to have to get my electric drill out to drill a pilot hole in the fence post I want to put it on. I was tired after all my schlepping and decided to do it another time.
The table is fabulous for $15. Eh, the edges are a bit worn, but I don't care. It's such an improvement over the old saggy plastic table with wobbly legs. I sort of think the nice people who sold it to me knocked $5 off it because I drove so far. And when I got there, obviously I'm not made of money. Which is sweet. Because it's not wobbly *at all*. Just as sturdy as can be.
My back isn't terribly happy with me walking around and doing things, but it's just going to have to deal. As will I. Sitting on my ass all day isn't doing it any favors, either. No, it doesn't spasm or hurt, but I can't live like that and it does feel better after some activity.
Ack! It's beginning to rain. Time to pack up and go inside.
Also, I need to find some In Plain Sight icons.
