Ghosting in
I've been away a while, but tonight's VM finale has made me nostalgic for the Internets. I've been reading people's VM farewells on LJ and TWoP, and I'm in agreement with those saying they aren't nearly as enraptured by the show now as they were two years ago, but still hold a special fondness for it.
Even more importantly, Veronica Mars opened me up to that strange collective that is fandom. Even though I wasn't always active in it, I still met a lot of fabulous people, and had a blast falling in (& out of) love with a TV show.
I'm not sure if I'm going to watch the last 2 eps tonight or catch up with them later in the week. I still have the last 3 eps in my Tivo queue that I haven't gotten to yet. On the other hand, I don't really want to miss the immediacy of the online reaction once it's all over, so I guess I'll probably end up cramming it all in after work...
