Today I bought the new Serenity comic book, "Float Out". It's a decent story that ( lol spoilers )

SO ABOUT THAT FIREFLY BOOK.

It contains 4 stories written by 4 of the show's writers, and... wow. Two of them just blew me away. I'll cut this because it contains movie spoilers AND just in case anyone wants to get the book and read it for themselves.

I ordered the two Firefly companion books a few weeks ago and volume 1 finally came today. UNF. It has the complete shooting scripts from the pilot through "Our Mrs. Reynolds", interspersed with comments from the cast and crew, profiles of each character, stuff about props... all very detailed. The more I relentlessly rewatch Firefly and Serenity and all the extras associated with it, the more I'm like, "WHY IN THE HELL WAS THIS SHOW CANCELED". Besides the fact that Fox Sucks Ass, of course.

It makes me want a River to my Simon even more at edensphere ;_; Especially after re-watching "The R. Tam Sessions". ( Spoilers for those, I guess? )
