I'd love to see a SPD fic where B-Squad is forced to sleep together for warmth (dogpile!). Doesn't have to be a SWAT fic but must have Sky bitching about the indignity of it all. Oh and CUDDLES. Lots and lots of CUDDLES.
Gruum's latest monster -- one of Mora's creations, it seemed -- was destroyed, and rather easily, but the after-effects of its destruction still blanketed the city. Literally. Newtech was covered in a thick blanket of snow, and the chill that came with it hadn't yet dispersed -- although Kat assured them all that it would fade quite quickly, likely overnight, at the latest by noon the next day

Taylor stumbled over something and she swore. Cole's grip on her arm tightened. "This would be a lot easier if I could take the blindfold off," said Taylor, shaking her head.
"But then this wouldn't be a surprise," said Cole.
Taylor sighed.
"Besides," continued Cole, right by her ear. "We're here."
She felt him tugging at the blindfold and it fell off. Taylor had to blink a bit to re-adjust her eyes. Then she saw the view. "Oh, wow," she breathed.
"Happy anniversary," Cole whispered in her ear.
Taylor turned to him, grinning. "I can't believe you snuck us onto the Animarium."
"Come on!" Cole laughed and kissed her. "Let's go say hi to our animals!"
The three of them had claimed the couch, firmly chasing Jen and Lucas away, holding them as not capable of understanding a wide genre of movies. Despite all of them being from a thousand years in the future, Trip and Katie had an appreciation for movies that the other two didn't.
So, on their creaky, sometimes ratty little couch, the three of them watched movies. One of the satellite channels (Circuit had found it quite easy to decipher the encoding, after all) was twenty-four hour eighties movies, all cheesy. All the way that the trio liked it.
What better way to unwind from a week with several battles than to chuckle and laugh and cry? They swapped places every so often; Katie so that she could hug the two of them, Wes and Trip to just claim center seat.
Yes, they'd pay for it later. But as Rangers, as the ones who saved the world, they needed cheesy things like these movies. So they didn't sleep, they merely enjoyed.

The third time Wes' hand 'accidentally' brushed against Trip while reaching for popcorn, Trip sighed and silently handed the Red Ranger the entire bowl--this was the good part of the movie after all. Wes made a happy noise and leaned up against Trip's shoulder, the old couch creaking with the movement

Thanks! I had a lot of fun with it. It's just something I'd never have thought of without the prompt and I've found that I like writing Dax and Mack. I also played that game as a kid and considering that Mack likes adventures, I figured it was the perfect game for them.
Kai stiffened when Leo crawled into bed next to him. "Leo what are you doing?" He was not ready for this. They'd only been going out for a few weeks.
"I can't sleep." Leo replied and laid his head on Kai's chest. "I can't stop seeing..."
Oh. Of course. He hadn't thought about how Leo must of felt losing his brother twice.
"Its not just Mike." Leo whispered as if he could hear Kai's thoughts. "It hasn't been that long but this, what we have, means something to me. I don't want... to lose you."
Oh. What was he supposed to say? He opted for just putting his arms around Leo. "Go to sleep."
"'Kay." Leo feel asleep to the reassuring sound of Kai's heart beat.

The world was better for their laughter.
