While reading Updike this morning on the bus (Pigeon Feathers, one of the short story collections) it occurred me that instead of writing an autobiographical story, I could write a fake autobiographical story. Like Updike writes. He has several short stories in this collection that are either based off his life as a young boy or as a young husband/

That is TOTALLY my plan this year. (And in 2005, and sort of in 2008!) I was actually JUST thinking about this. I've found it to be very therapeutic. And it's probably the best way to get 50k... you can't really run out of material or inspiration! :P
