Best Day Ever!
Okay, so here it is.
First of all, I finally got that item I bought off of eBay back in September. You want to know why it took so long to get here? I went to the post office to pick up the parcel and the mail guy says, "Wow, this took quite a trip." I look at it and... apparently when someone sees the letters 'Bakersfield, CA' in Hong Kong they assume to send it to 'Bakersfield, CANADA'. Canada? Are you serious?! Then there's a second sticker that says 'TRY Bakersfield, California, USA, 95937(That's crossed out), 93309'. I'm so keeping this wrapped in this bag to show all my friends.
And second, Jon got second place in the region for most reservations sold at Gamestop this year. O_o But... Jon's only worked at GS for the first 4 months of this year. That is so not saying anything good about that company.
Sorry, I just had to share those bits of WTF.
On side notes: I had fun at my party on Sunday. I'm sorry that Luis couldn't make it and Tiff wasn't feeling well. I'm happy with all of my presents. ^-^ I exchanged Super Monkey Ball 2 for Pirates of the Caribbean if that's okay, Tata, because there weren't any other games I was interested in at Target.
And Jon said he enjoyed himself as well. He's gotten used to a few in a group, and he seemed happy that he made the boys laugh. It makes me happy too that he's making an effort to be friendly. ^-^ We still have to play a game, Harker.
Oh, and Secret Santa is tomorrow (the 23rd) at Haley's at 10am, right? What else are we planning? I'm bringing Double Dutch Delights that I'm making tonight. Are we planning on eating, drinking, and making merry? (That sounded stupid...) What about the time frame? Come at 10 and leave when you need to? I'll probably end up calling Haley and/or Tiff for more details.
Edit: I just got an e-mail from Borders saying that you can now reserve Harry Potter and the Deathly(or was it 'Deadly'?) Hallows! Yay! *ponders running to Borders right now*
