We have just finished watching the bastard child of kabuki and cheesy old musicals, which was apparently raised by an amateur theater group. It starred Zhang Ziyi and Odagiri Joe. In between the sudden, bizarre scene cuts, we found kabuki rap, zori tap dancing, the butt drum dance, the epic Rock Paper Scissors battle, an utterly random CGI character, and the cutest happy singing golden frog evar.

Operetta Tanuki Goten is awful and I love it.
