Ok, so he was standing outside talking to a co-worker when I pulled up to work Monday night. He started in towards the door, and I was following behind. When he got to the door, he scanned his badge and opened it and turned to wait for me holding it open. He kept urging me to walk faster, but I didn't change my pace, and I told him that I wasn't going to walk faster, that "he would wait for me." To which he predictably responded, "Yeah, right." I commented in turn, "But you did."
As we walk up the stairs, I mention that I should have made the bet for 50 bucks instead of 5. And here is where I should have seen this coming. He says to me with a grin on his face, "But I didn't say /that/ night."
Well fuck me running. Talk about pissed! I just give him this disgusted look. I point out to him that he is just going to use that as a way to get out of actually either showing up or paying up. He prompts me to make it for 50, but I'm not THAT stupid. I make it for 50, hell yeah he is showing up. After a few minutes of going back and forth about various things I just told him to forget the whole thing because I wasn't going to have it hanging over my head. Then he narrowed it down to "before April." What a weasle.
I love when he flirts with me. The other night when he was sitting with the grave team, he flipped me off for some reason, and so I licked my lips at him. He grins and makes like he's gonna unzip his pants. I nod and tell him any time. I'm ready. Tonight after I went back to my desk I sent him an email telling him I could drop by after work and say hey. I figure he's gonna be all like, hell no. But he just says yep.
Huh.
I email him again and ask if he would even let me in, and he says he would if he was awake. What are the odds he would be? I dunno. I told him I was going to do it, but it would be weird. My co-worker says I should go. I'm not really prepared, and plus, I'm supposed to go work out with her after our shift. And most importantly, I think it would be really awkward to just show up like that. I want to though.
