So. The football match. Turkey vs. Denmark. If we lost this match, it would all be over and mine and xavantina's tickets for the game on Wednesday would be a complete waste.

Christian Poulsen: My number one woobie in the world. He was no doubt the best player on the field and more or less took over Gravesen's role as the midfield captain. He actually scored a goal in the second half, but he was about 30 cm offside, so it was overruled. But he looked so happy! *I* was so happy! But his face when he found out there was no goal was simply heart-breaking. He tried to get back at the Turks by faking an injury a bit later in the match, but he and the other player both got a yellow card for that, so, pooh. (though I can't blame him for trying)
Jon Dahl Tomasson: Last year he was everyone's hero, but in this match he was a complete let-down. I really didn't notice him at all and he didn't create any chances for himself. All he does is wait at the top for someone to shoot a ball to him, but when the Turks play a pretty defensive 4-4-2, that can be quite hard! We really can't afford to have such passive player, when we have other players who could do the job better than him *cough*SørenLarsen*cough*
Claus Jensen: It had really never dawned to me that he was an attacker until the match against England, but apparently this guy can score! I can't remember him scoring any goals, but now he's scored two goals in two matches, so life is great! He played great football and passed great balls to the rest. An absolute delight to watch!
Dennis Rommedahl: He played some decent football against England, but I am back to my old "this guy can't play football"-opinion. I really think Morten Olsen has a crush on him, because there is no other reason for having him on the field. We could use Kenneth Perez, Kahlenberg, Silberbauer, even Peter Møller would be better and he's turned 33!! Out with Rommedahl!
Martin Jørgensen: After about 20 mins he looked tired. He did play some good football once in a while, but the same thing applied to him that applies to Rommedahl, though on a much smaller scale. He's had his golden years, but now he's getting older and slower, so could we please find a substitute?
Thomas Gravesen: He spent too much time being a bully and too little time playing football. He's usually a great player, but not yesterday. Unfortunately.
Daniel Agger: I had high hopes for this guy, but he caused the first Turkish goal, so I'm not so fond of him anymore. Hopefully he'll learn from his mistakes!
Thomas Helveg: I think by now Morten Olsen only keeps him so he can get over the 100 national games. He's on 96 now, so it won't be too long, but he's really not as good as he used to be.
Thomas Sørensen: Had some really nice saves, but he was mostly just damned lucky. And the goals were typical Sørensen-blunders. But he's a lot better than he was a year ago!
Søren Larsen: I've said it before, but now I'm saying it again: this guy is GOLD!! He scored. Yet again. Fourth match in a row he's scored in. Morten Olsen put him in at the 84th minute and he scores in the 93rd. Only problem was that he should have put him about 30 minutes before!!! Seriously! How far out is Morten Olsen? Our game had come to a complete low after the first Turkish goal, but we could have changed that by making a offensive substitution, like Jon Dahl for Søren Larsen. But, nooo, we have to wait until the very last fucking minute! Morten Olsen, can't you and Keld Bordinggaard switch places? I'm sure he could do a better job than you!
ETA: I just found out that before Søren Larsen was subbed he said to Kahlenberg: Argh, he's not giving me much time to score those two goals! Love! So much love!

Claus Jensen, the player I'd never noticed *loves*

Aww... *happiness*

Player cuddling after Claus' goal

And some more ;) Niclas Jensen is such a woobie!! FCK love 4-ever! And notice how much Christian is sweating. He lost, like, a litre of water though the match, I'm sure!

Yes, we can see that you're angry. No love.

And it's just as much your fault. No love to you.

I think this picture is kinda cool, actually. So many legs!

I love these two pictures. Couldn't he just pull him all the way off the pitch??

Christian after he scores the "goal". So much with the love!

And two seconds after. God, I hate that referee...

Trying to be intimidating

And then he suddenly just collapses. I tell ya, I was so scared that something had happened, but when we saw the replay it was pretty clear that it was nothing. But A for effort!

And I've saved the best for last:

Søren Larsen all the way, man...!

These two are SO INCREDIBLY SLASHY!! Seriously, I don't think there has been slash this obvious on the team since Jon Dahl/Grønkjær at the Euro2004. They spend all their time together at Schalke and now on the National team, too. I saw an interview with Morten Olsen where Christian walked by the camera first and a second later Søren Larsen walks by. They cannot let each other go. Which is so cute!!

SO CUTE!!

An even better picture! I love these two so much.

This is what I mean:

Posing at training in Turkey

Walking side by side at the hotel in Turkey

And training next to each other in Vedbæk. So cute!

The match against England. Notice how jealous Christian looks in the background. "Why is Michael Gravgaard and Jesper Christiansen holding his hand and not me?"

But all is well in Love Land...

...and he gets his hug. Aww...!!

Training in Gelsenkirchen :D

OTP love!! I'm trying to convince xavantina to write me fic. Help me?

And GIP! Because xavantina hasn't started the fic yet, but is wonderful anyway *loves*
