I'm definitely very familiar with the struggle about weight. I'm going through it myself. And you're right. Those guys are idiots. Fat is "grande" now that was hard wasn't it? Any moron could've figured it out...

but anyway...It is difficult to do something like this and stay focused on your goal. My boyfriend has helped me a lot "did you take your vitamins today? Did you write down what you ate in your meal log? Did you work out?" and sometimes it seems like he's heckling me (and sometimes I lied just so he wouldn't get mad at me....but not often cause I just can't lie to him) but it's really helped.

Just focus on WHY you're doing this. Hopefully you realize that no matter your size, you are a beautiful valuable person, and that you are perfect the way you are. I've finally come to be comfortable with my body...I just can't wait to be fit for health reasons. I want to be able to run around with my kids when I'm a mom, I don't want to have to worry about clogged arteries, heart disease, diabetes, etc ( ... )

hi there, i was looking at your pictures last night, you're so cute!!!!! and i'm totally jealous of all the places you've been.

thanks ALOT for what you wrote. i've been feeling really down on myself lately, so its nice to hear all that. everyone around me is stick thin, and claims to be "fat" and it just pisses me off ya know.

i did lose 60 lbs in a 6 months period, but i didnt have to think about it, it just fell off of me.. and now its becoming way harder. i know what i need to do, but its just so hard to break habits i've had for 21 years.

and yeah, i do write down what i eat, cuz i try and eat 1300-1700 calories a day, so i gotta keep track.

i guess all i can do is keep going to the gym, and eating healthy.

again, thanks.

btw, my name is stephanie, whats yours?

Of course!

my name is Kate.

I joined the SELF Challenge...it's free at www.self.com you put in your info it generates a profile and offers suggestions for what to eat, and exercises...it provides a place to post what you've eaten there (no one can see it except you when you log in) and what you did when you exercise and will tell you exactly how many calories you burned when you exercised....along with free tips every day, and a motivational email each week. It's actually ver nice for a free service! I'd recommend it if you haven't already looked into it.

Anywhoo

Oh, and how could I forget to say CONGRATS! 60 pounds is NOTHING to frown at! Especially in the time frame! That's fantastic!

60 pounds is about what I have left to lose. and I mean...On one side, it's really cool because I started with about 80 to lose....so I'm 1/4 of the way there....but it took me since August to get this far so it's kind of discouraging. I don't want to weight 3 years! At the same time though...It was since august that I've been on again off again....so if I just STICK WITH IT and end up losing some every week I know I'll get there soon....

ANYWAY!
If you've already come this far, I know you can deal with the rest no problem!
