Some cool stuff
I had to buy things for the English dept at school, and after asking our tech about some laptops to buy, she told me she had a couple of MacBooks and I coule play with one a bit. An English dept member bought a similar one that she was using in school and said she loved it. It sounded like something I could use for presentations in class from the computer, so I went to look at them at the Mac Store. It turns out that a lot of new computers will not run many programs that we need at school, however. Word is that the Dept of Ed is planning to buy a computer for every teacher so we can work with curriculum and grades, etc. but they can't use the newest ones for what they want us to do. Weird. I don't know how people manage all this obsolesence.
But here's my point. This MacBook is great for Live Journal. I don't even have to sign in. Everything works perfectly! I love it. The edge isn't comfortable for my wrists, but I like the keys a million times better than the ones on the iBook I have, which is old.
