Orlando Bloom in minor car collision in LA...
Our boy is okay and appears to be faultless, thank goodness, but two poor women passengers were hurt. If he's right about the cause, it's one more reason to curse the paparazzi.
WHY can't we prosecute more of these people? Argh!
ETA: Oh, Orlando...the stupid tabloid sites have vid of him leaving the scene initially. I don't know if he was a little drunk or in shock, but he's definitely not himself. *sigh* He did go back and deal with it all, and police so far insist that he wasn't intoxicated. Of course I want to think the best of Orlando; I can't lie about that. But you'll just have to take my word for it that I've been sympathetic to non-celebrities in this situation as well.
I only know from my own perspective and a couple of car accidents/fires that I didn't even know who I was afterwards--and these were thankfully not cases where anyone was hurt. So I can easily imagine that getting run off the road by another car and slamming into a parked car has got to shake your brains. And well...Orlando's always been a bit...helpless. But whatever the circumstances, or intentions, I feel bad for everyone involved, and I'm glad it didn't turn out more serious.
