So I saw this band called Empires on Sunday night. I kind of dig these guys, and by that I mean they are absolutely precious ridiculous DORKS.

It is such a good time heckling Sean when he's setting up his keyboard. How can we resist?

He's so adorably faily about it! "I don't like the way my keyboard is set up." And then just stands there and stares at it for a few seconds.

I almost feel weird taking pictures of them now? But I did anyway because I knew that a lot of people couldn't make the show.

YOU'RE WELCOME! And seriously, everyone was all, "MAX ISN'T WEARING A HOODIE!" "SSHHH, DON'T SAY ANYTHING, HE MIGHT PUT ONE ON."

I called him on it later! Apparently in summer, he feels it is safe to wear just t-shirts.

Max seems to be growing out of this awkward stage rapidly! It's kind of awesome to see.

Sean always tries to get Al to tell jokes and/or stories. And Al always refuses. And I really want to know the joke now. Except I always forget to ask.

One day, Sean will actually accept that we love him just as much as he loves us.

Ha! I know! And... really, I worry about this joke that Al won't share, because we know he'll share all kinds of TMI. Or maybe that's just for when he's not on stage?

I asked him about it on myspace. We need to know!

He does like to share inappropriate stories. I feel as though if there's every anything embarrassing you want to know about any member of Empires, you should just ask Al. He'll probably tell you.

Oh, Al -- I wouldn't be surprised if he did. He has such a blithe way of sharing information!

I have a plane ticket that says I'll be there for their June 4th show. I'm not saying I'll actually be there, but I have a TICKET THAT SAYS SO.

I've got my fingers crossed for you! I hope you make it, because then we can introduce you and tell Empires that YOU NEED A HUG, OKAY.

But apparently he can't remember when their last concert was? Hint: It was not a week ago.

But I do love all of their faces and I love that they talk to us after the show and next time, Ryan promised us a (scandalous?) story about Max. \o/
