At last, the long awaited update.
Okay, so finally I think I'm going to get around to updating. Although, I'm pretty damn sure nobody is reading about the not so exciting saga of my life, so like it doesn't matter right? Yay for talking to myself. So self, what would you like to talk about today? I think I'd like to talk about the weird experience that I had at the drive-in. Okay lets.
Anyway, when I'm home I ususually go to the drive-in with my guyfriends. It's a rocking good time. We can tailgate and talk though the whole movie if it sucks and nobody cares aka we can be our ridiculous selfves without pissing off the other customers. Anywho, I usually go with the same crowd. But to make this simple, here's who I go with and a background, since you'll probably be hearing about these guys all summer:
Bryan - long time best friend. Have known him longer than my own biological brother.
Camille - the evil girlfriend of Bryan. We don't get along too well mostly because I think she's jealous of the close relationship I have with her boyfriend.
Wiseman - Bryan's roomie. A very cool guy.
Nicky - Wiseman's girlfriend and awesome artist. She also has a shoe fetish, so we get along great.
John Stevens - Random friend of Bryan's?
Schummer - Bryan's friend who is always back for the summer at the same time I am. He goes to UNR.
So now that we're familiar with the cast let's get on to the weirdness. As a rule I never date any of Bryan's guyfriends. Actually I have never been able to date any of his guyfriends because I am perpetually presented as a girl who is really more of a guy, which I guess is true, however that kind of kills any chance at dating any new guys I meet now doesn't it. So I'm always shocked to high heaven if any of Bryan's guyfriends show the remotest interest in me. I always wind up thinking it's all in my head and then they feel shot down and then I lose.
So, now onto my dilenma. I think Schummer was showing some interest in me at the drive-in, however, this could just a) be all in my head b) be a result of him being bored or c) actually be real interest in me as a summer fling. I'm leaning toward option a because I've known Schummer now for a year and I've always just been one of the guys. However, here are the comments he made, decide for yourselves. And for the love of God somebody leave me a comment with what you think!
Comment One: I blame her. Whenever she's in the car, I feel the need to drive fast. Context: Said in front of me, Bryan, and John on the way to dinner when he was driving. My read: Is he trying to show off for me or just joking???
Comment Two: Don't worry about getting your sweatshirt out of your car, you can always borrown mine. Context: Said after he asked me to ride in his car to the drive-in. My Read: Normally, I would think of this as just being nice but this was right after he asked just me to ride with him. ...?
Comment Three: Hey, why don't I turn my car around so we can make out in back under the blanket. *wink wink* Context: He said this kind of jokingly but then who the hell knows about something like that.
Yeah, so I'm confused as hell. Oh he also did wind up sharing his blanket with me, but I'm not sure that's a big deal. Anyway, for the love of God somebody help me out here cause I have no clue what's going on.
