Piggy in the mirror.
So , i went to Dallas this weekend, and visited witha good friend from back when i was in 9th grade,
his son had his 4th b-day party this weekend and i brought Zain to go meet him.
how cool it was to have my son meet his son. they played like mad and Zain got to act like the big kid which i think he enjoyed.
i picked him up some new shoes while there, his red converse had pretty much reached their limits.
They are now what he calls his flame Dallas shoes. sorta reminds me of anytime i was a kid and not in my home city and got something that i actually needed on a day to day bases they seemed more special cuz i got them somewhere else.
when i got home from driving and from having a ton of little kids running around me all day i put my son to bed and jumped infront of my airbrush. had been jonsin all weekend to get painting.
i decided to put the RC cars down for the eveing and i grabbed a canvas i drew a sketch on probably about 7 years or more ago that i had never brought a drop of paint to.
i got most my bas colors in last night. so i am about 1/4 of the way now into this painting. lots of med shades and layers upon layers of detail to add still not to mention i think the piggy needs a tattoo.
but i think i will snap a few shots of it in progress. hopefully i can put a few hours into it today.
so far i got about 2-3 into it and i expect before it is even close to a real stopping point i should have 12-15 hours into it at least so i got a long way to go. size is about 2 foot by 3 foot roughly.
i'll post updates as i get 3 or so hours more into it.
