[Someone probably nudged the Pokegear or something -- knowing Ironhide, he just sort of left it out and forgot about it -- and the video feed is extremely boring. It shows Ironhide, sprawled and asleep on his Onix's tail, having apparently decided that the sun is just right for sleeping in

[Well, some people take advantage of the nice weather by having a nap, some people take advantage by running around and trying to shop for a traveling party of a hell of a lot.

Ken's doing the latter, but he's glad you're enjoying the former. At least until the egg falls, which makes him wince in expectation of scrambled eggs until the Onix catches it.]

[Well you're obviously asleep big guy, and your only conversation was voice--he has no idea what you look like. Of course Ken's going to start talking to your Onix.]

[The Onix makes as close an approximation to a smile as a face made of rock can get. Her head bobs once, in a nod -- yep, she's got it.

This does manage to somehow rouse Ironhide though, and he sits up, slowly.]

[The Onix carefully raises the egg into his line of view -- and Ironhide gives her a rather incredulous look.]

Probably not hers. Everyone got one, must be 'cause it was Easter. It's kinda an eggy holiday, for some reason.

[Ken doesn't get it. He understands Easter perfectly fine, but only in the religious context.]

It's an important religious holiday for Christians. Somehow that got turned into rabbits and eggs. Not sure how that came about.

[Faaaaaantastic. Ken never could sit through sermons as a kid, he's pretty sure he wouldn't do much better even if he were the one giving them.]

Any way you cut it, we all got eggs, and you'll find out what's gonna come out of yours in a week or less. You might be able to get a hint from its color.

--and one of my other Pokemon ended up looking kinda like the eggs they came in.

Might be a rock or steel type.
