Hm, I think I'm okay. I'm not quite sure of what memory I lost, but I'm hoping it wasn't too important.
[PRIVATE//UNHACKABLE] If someone else hadn't been listening, I would've informed you that I'd trusted Hojo in the past and shared information about dying here in Purgatorium. Before getting killed by Logan, I had already been killed twice before... This makes me sound really bad for a ninja...
The first time, I was killed by shinigami Ryuk--or so the goddess Medea has informed me. I don't know how it happened, but it felt like a heart attack. The second time, I was attacking someone who had laid a bomb in front of me; as I was using a lightning attack, I was moving too quickly to prevent the bomb from being detonated.
If there was anything that I had noted with the professor, it was that people who die here do not seem to forget the events that have taken place since their arrival. The next is that the gods have a certain attitude toward reviving people and take memories as exchange for another chance at living in this world.
Hn. I've never thought of that. But I'd imagine since I still remember everything that's happened in Purgatorium since my arrival, if I lose all my memories of my life before arriving here, I'd have to seriously stop sacrificing my life for anything anymore... otherwise, it might just switch to me forgetting things that have taken place here.
[OOC; But thankfully, someone else has~ Kakashi himself has no idea, though.]

Hm, I'm not entirely sure yet. I've talked about it with the little pink-haired kid... Yachiru, was it? And she said that she wants to talk it over with that red-head, Jean.
If I just actually knew what it was that bothered Rikku the most, I'd do anything that it takes to make her realize that she's that much stronger than Jenova. I know she's a fighter... I just don't know what to do to fight along with her.

Yeah, Jean'll be able to help.
You know...between the four of us, I bet we could watch one of the infected people. We're bound to find something out if we follow one of them long enough.
Re: [private]shouldve_didntDecember 5 2007, 03:39:19 UTC
Hm, point taken. I suppose that we should all communicate with each other, share everything that we know, and devise a plan to watch one or the other.
Hopefully there aren't others who were also infected. The only disappearances I knew about were Rikku and Logan, though, but it's possible that Hojo also experimented on others, isn't it?
Re: [private]shouldve_didntDecember 5 2007, 03:47:11 UTC
Mm. I won't be so direct this time. I just had to test him the last time since there's no way I could get myself to push Rikku like that.
Assuming that they meet up at some point during any part of the day, yes. But if they communicate regularly through the journals, it might be a little harder.
Re: [private]iluvfunnelcakeDecember 5 2007, 03:53:06 UTC
If were following them then we can see when they use the journals, and we can compare it to when we see public messages. If they're posting but we're not seeing the messages, then they could be communicating.
Also, I bet we could find a hacker if we looked for one. I know a tiny bit about hacking, but if Hojo is working on this than the security is probably more than I can handle. An expert, though, could probably break through it easily.

Sure. My employer has given me way too much freedom (Do you know anything about the ShinRa company? Have they always been this lenient) and if I'm missing, I have a co-worker who always seems to cover for me. She probably thinks I'm abusing it at this point... but we have an arrangement, and I'm sure she won't mind continuing to help me out. So this time, I'll keep it low. Logan it is, right?

Say...what are we going to do about this whole Jenova thing?

Yeah, let's follow Logan for now. He seems to be the one slipping up the most.
