I wasn't able to get much information before I died, but afterward, I ran into someone who told me that both Professor Hojo and Jenova existed in a 'video game' in his world. In this video game, Hojo used the alien being, Jenova, in his experiments--most who were infected either went crazy or died, and those who survived became puppets to Jenova.

Since Kakashi died in his battle with Logan, he lost the memory of Obito's name. SHORT SPOILER: Those who haven't read the manga or my Kakashi application wouldn't know that Kakashi obtained the sharingan from Uchiha Obito. I don't want Kakashi to completely forget him, especially because of the direction that the manga is currently taking. If this theory is confirmed, we could toy with the memory loss just a little bit more.
