If the connection between Rikku and Jenova really is Hojo, then that means she's lied to me. I don't want to think that she's lied to me, but if she did... then there's more to this than she's let on. She just doesn't want to tell me, but that'd also mean that she's hiding it for my sake. She wants to protect me as much as I want to protect her.
Or Hojo told her to lie. Or Jenova told her to lie.
I mean, if she's going to lie, I'd rather that she do it of her own accord, though. Rather, if she's lying to protect me.
I hardly know what I'm even thinking anymore...
And according to what Misao told me, Jenova is an alien being. Hojo likes to inject people with that being for experimentation.
When I checked in on his journal to let him know she was back... he said it was too late.
"Unfortunately, the window of opportunity has closed for me. However, please do let her know that I'm deeply grateful for how... willing she was, at the time of my project.
I'm very relieved to see that she's been located."
What kind of project was this anyway?
And then Jenova told me Rikku's thoughts. I heard Rikku's voice with her touch.
I don't like where this is leading...
But I think I've got it figured out. Should I call her out on it...?
