CANON RELATIONSHIPS
Kazuha Toyama ☆
She had only met Kazuha a handful of times in the past but never thought much of anything about the girl. But after she was taken in by her, she's been opening up to the teenager a little at a time. While Ai isn't the best at expressing her gratitude, she is thankful to her for looking after her even if Ai feels it's not necessary. And she is determined to make sure that Kazuha never discovers the truth about her for fear that she would become a possible target in the future.
Kaito Kuroba ☆
At this time Ai doesn't have much of an opinion on Kaito just yet. They get along well enough but usually she'll lapse into her cynical, quick-wit whenever they have a conversation. She just sees him as another goof-ball of a teenager who happens to come from the same world as she does. And to her he shares the same level of devotion to magic as Conan does to mysteries which amuses her to a degree. Otherwise, he definitely makes living in the Inn an amusing experience.
Conan Edogawa ☆
Seeing as he is in the same position as she is, she trusts Conan the most out of everyone on the island. And he is the only person who knows her history, to an extent, so while she won't admit it openly, she feels she can talk to him about certain matters. But she is often reminding him to be careful because the strange occurrences on the island because their secret seems to have a habit of being easy to slip out. They may spend a significant chunk of time exchanging smart remarks but in a way he keeps her on his toes and vice verse. Having a friend, let alone a close one, is not something she was use to growing up in the Syndicate. And he is one of the few that she is willing to lay down her life in order to protect.
