1. His cluelessness. It makes him come across as a bit of a bumbling fool at times, but it's just because he has a view of the world that's very neat and black & white and when he comes across things that don't fit into that little box it confuses him. It's just very endearing.
2. The way he's changed from wanting a boring life in the country to being pretty much the man to go to about alien medicine. It makes him really interesting and it's definitely something worth exploring about how he went from wanting one thing to getting another and being happy about it.
3. His generosity. It makes him very lovable that he's so willing to help people and put them above himself. And a bit like watching a train wreck given the way it can mess up his relationships with others.
4. The way he winds Sarah up. It's fun to watch and read, and it's also fun to write and RP.
5. He looks good in a uniform. Given that I keep having to look at him I might as well have something nice to look at now and again.
