Psych... yeah. I'm not really into the fandom or anything, and I'm still watching it and enjoying it and everything, but. Yeah. I thought High Noonish would be better (though I did like the fact that Lassie asked them for help. I was all, "awwww"). The weird girlfriend subplot is bugging me. Like, they mention her when it's convenient but then like three episodes later, nothing. And not enough Lassie in the last one, either. Anyway. Yeah. Huh. I haven't really been thinking much about Psych lately.

COLLEGE. urgh, mine doesn't start for another two and a half weeks! I'm moving on the 19th, which really isn't that far away, but when everyone I hang out with has been in school for a month already, it's ridiculous. My dorm is suite style, too, so yay for having random things in common!!! As for fandom, I've been getting really stupidly into star trek lately, so. that pretty much sums it up, lol.

TL;DR: I'm not really into the Psych fandom either (except for my insane love for a few Shawn/Lassiter fics... ahem) But yeah, I agree. The girlfriend thing has been bugging me too. :( And I was okay when it was confirmed that Abby would be A Big Deal, because then it takes Shawn/Jules off the table. Now, I love Shawn/Jules, but they weren't taking it anywhere, so ( ... )

I adore the movie and the original series, haha. The show is pretty ridiculous and I love it because of that rather than in spite of it, ha. My dad was all, "I always hear you laughing at Star Trek. I never really thought of it as a comedy," and seriously, it's so. fucking. funny. I don't really take it seriously, but I'm completely addicted at this point. On top of the extremely low-budget sets and 60s graphics/sound effects and hilarious acting (mostly on shatner's part) I love it because of how Kirk and Spock work together so well and there's ~teamwork yey~ and I don't know, there's this weird sincerity about it or something and I really really like it. But yeah, it's pretty much so bad it's good. You should watch some more episodes... this comment is getting WAY too long, lol ( ... )

haha, I AM THE SAME WAY ABOUT THE MOVIE. Someone brings it up and I'm like, "HMMM? OH YES!"
