TL;DR: I'm not really into the Psych fandom either (except for my insane love for a few Shawn/Lassiter fics... ahem) But yeah, I agree. The girlfriend thing has been bugging me too. :( And I was okay when it was confirmed that Abby would be A Big Deal, because then it takes Shawn/Jules off the table. Now, I love Shawn/Jules, but they weren't taking it anywhere, so...

-sigh- Yes. It's kind of fading out of my mind too.

STAR TREK. They played it in the football field on campus on a huge inflatable screen. I think that's the only school function I've been to so far. :P Do you mean the movie or the show? I've only seen the movie, but what I've seen so far of the original series (one episode)... I CAN'T TAKE IT SERIOUSLY. I'm lol-ing through the entire thing. I mean, it's lovely silly crack. So, ♥!

I adore the movie. Have I mentioned that? I ADORE THE MOVIE. I frequently lurk ontd_startrek and it's many many MANY spinoff comms. I'll ship anything. Seriously. hahaaa

I adore the movie and the original series, haha. The show is pretty ridiculous and I love it because of that rather than in spite of it, ha. My dad was all, "I always hear you laughing at Star Trek. I never really thought of it as a comedy," and seriously, it's so. fucking. funny. I don't really take it seriously, but I'm completely addicted at this point. On top of the extremely low-budget sets and 60s graphics/sound effects and hilarious acting (mostly on shatner's part) I love it because of how Kirk and Spock work together so well and there's ~teamwork yey~ and I don't know, there's this weird sincerity about it or something and I really really like it. But yeah, it's pretty much so bad it's good. You should watch some more episodes... this comment is getting WAY too long, lol.

And the movie. My god. Don't even get me started, I'll go on for hours about how much I ♥ it. Seriously! What's not to love? Sexy cast + barfight + bestiality jokes + lensflares = best movie of the summer. And I'm not usually into all the actiony movies, but still. I looove ontd_startrek haha! And I think Kirk/Spock is the best, I can sort of see all the other pairings but IMO Bones is straight as an arrow, but whatevs.
