This is the story of My SIx Flags Adventure- or, how I almost died 1573 times, and one way I kind of did.
Alex, Sabrina, Clare and I went on Tuesday. We had a blast, despite the near constant state of panic I was in thanks to the terrifying roller coasters. The first ride we went on was X2, which was absolutely terrifying and really, really fun. We rode rides, had Panda Express- it was a Good Day.
Until the last ride, that is. :D
So, we decided to go on Tatsu (I think that's how you spell it) for our last ride. Sabrina and I were getting tired, and she really wanted to go on Tatsu, so we all just agreed to end the day after that roller coaster. I was kind of iffy on whether or not to go on it-, as was feeling a little unsteady- not nauseous, just kind of shaky. But, everyone assured me that the ride wasn't that intense, so whatever. I went on it.
Let me tell you, not one of my better decisions.
I knew I wouldn't like the ride very much when I saw what position they put you in. When the ride starts, you're laying horizontal to the ground; once the ride gets going, you move into a position that's kind of like how you would be if you were flying. Apparently, my body does not like flying.
So, that was the first Bad Thing about the ride. There were also a lot of corkscrews, loops, etc, which my stomach did not appreciate. To top it off, I wasn't wearing my glasses on the ride, which kind of just made everything into a big blue. Granted, it didn't matter much, as I had my eyes closed for most of the ride.
Finally, the ride ended. I got off, and promptly almost fell over. I was so dizzy, I literally couldn't walk straight. I couldn't open my eyes without the world spinning or falling over. I've never been that dizzy before in my life. I had to sit down for about ten or fifteen minutes before I could even open my eyes. I was really nauseous- and let me tell you, for being a park with insane roller coasters, Six Flags is not very well prepared for someone who is sick coming off a ride. All of their trash cans are covered, so you can't throw up in it unless you wrestle the cover off or shove your head through the little slot into the trashcan. Luckily, I had to do neither, as I got over the nausea eventually. But man, was it close.
So, that was close of my little Six Flags adventure. After I could stand up without falling over, we made our way back to the car (slooowly, I might add), and back home. I never realized how bumpy freeways and streets are. :D I was still mildly dizzy when I got home- I couldn't turn my head quickly without it wanting to topple off my shoulders.
So, note to self- Tatsu = death in roller coaster form.
