Summer Job

So, I applied for a job at Target yesterday. They told me it would take about 2-3 weeks to review the application and get back to me, but I finished scheduling an interview for tomorrow, so that estimate got blown out of the water. :D

God, I hate interviews. I think this one is about 15 minutes long or so, because it seemed like they had interviews scheduled for about every twenty minutes. I never know what to say during them- there's this constant sense of paranoia, that everything I say could be interpreted the wrong way and make me look back. It makes interviewing Not Fun.

I applied for the Sales Floor/Fitting Room position. There were only a couple others....I think the cafe/Starbucks attendant was one of them, which was a job I definitely did not want. I mean, if they somehow randomly decide to put me in that position, I'll deal, but it's definitely not my first choice.

So, here's hoping that all goes well. If I manage to get the job, I'll only be working there for about two months or so before I leave for New York. I figure I can endure anything for two months. :D

EDIT: So, apparently, Target sucks and is not hiring seasonal summer positions, despite the fact that the sign in the window clearly said they were hiring seasonal positions. It is summer; ergo, that should be the season you are hiring for. Grrrrrrrrrr.

summer, not awesome, awesome, work
