This weekend we're in Daytona this weekend and our winter break is officially over. Three months seems like such a short time. I managed to squeeze in a quick visit with Patrick and his mom and dad and that other person in their family this week. I'm hoping the weathers nice down in Florida, It's been a crazy winter climate wise.
After Daytona, I won't be going to races every weekend like I have the past two years. With Mia running around full speed and Tucker starting to take a step here and there, our little coach is just way too crowded. Shacking the kids up in a hotel room weekend after weekend isn't what we want to do either. I guess it's better to get them used to having Daddy gone on weekends now. Down the road, they'll be in school and going to every single race will be out of the question all together. These are the things I keep telling myself. That this is the best way to do things and we're making the right call. At the end of the day, i'm being a bit of a baby about it. I know it could be worse though, boy do I.
