I have a number of tastes in music.  Classical, folk music, early rock and roll, early jazz.  I think I'm going to have to also classify fife and drum musick as another favorite.  There is just something so stirring in the sound of fifes and drums.  I can see why some commanders in 18th century would rouse their fife and drum corps out of bed at 2: ( Read more... )

If you like recording yourself playing music, or talking, or imitating various sound effects, but you can't stand the fact that Windows Sound Recorder only records 1 minute of information at a time (unless you manually extend the size), try downloading Audacity.

Well, I would have prefered this to have been in a Windows Media file, but unfortunately, the server I was trying to upload it to as a wmv file only excepts 10MB files.  You can download a little nifty program that allows you to upload larger files, but I don't own the computer I'm doing all my internet stuff on.  So . . . another mode of uploading ( Read more... )
