Haven't posted in a while so thought I would treat the Internet to a few of my choice words. Bum, twiddle and poobots.
Am really posting to say that I seem to have forgotten all the songs I learnt to play on my drum kit. That's rather disappointing but I do have a new found enthusiasm to learn "All The Small Things" by my boys. I'll concentrate on this masterpiece for a while and think about re-learning the others another time.
Also getting withdrawal from the Radio. Haven't been for 2 weeks as there has been a mishap with the new training we are supposed to be doing. Am really feeling the strain. The Radio gets me through the week. That must be good, the fact that I miss it so much. Going to pop in tomorrow to one of the other shows just to get my fix.
Other things of note lately include sitting in on shoulder replacement surgery. Gnarly but very interesting. The surgeon put his finger underneath the lady's deltoid muscle. And he dislocated her shoulder. Definitely an experience.
Today I saw a girl my age. She fell out of a window and had to have spinal surgery. They had to make an incision along her back, right through her tattoo, and when they sewed her up again it was lopsided! It shouldn't be funny but it is.
