The game is up
It is with regret that I write to inform you of the cessation of "The Game Game". Thanks to snow_angels the final tally rests at 17-13 to the Dead Pheasants but it is both too confusing and too dangerous to go on. I made this decision whilst swerving half way onto the hard shoulder of the M4 this weekend at 70 mph, head craned over my left shoulder trying to spot one of the beloved pheasants pottering in a field. I shall never know if it was a pheasant or not, but in this instance, I feel the lesson learned is more important. I trust that my reasons for retiring from "The Game Game" (in the non-prostitute sense) are clear. I shall continue to safeguard their welfare by driving with due care and attention as I travel the long and winding (country) road. I hope you will join me. So long and thanks for all the pheasants.
