Homecoming... Come and Gone
I feel really good about keeping in touch with everyone now. It doesn't matter that I'd been away for everyone for an entire month; we were still absolutely fine, as though no real time had ever passed and the first 4 weeks at college had all been just a dream. It felt really great, and extreeeemely comforting! I missed everyone so much, I'm just glad it was as fulfilling a homecoming as I'd hoped. It definitely was! I got to meet 2 of Heather's friends from RPI. Joe and Racheal. Both seem very, very nice, and I'm just glad we didn't scare them too much lol. Joe seemed eager to appreciate us lol, and he did quite a fine job of assuring me he was comfortable and fit in. No matter what motive he may have had lol, I sincerely appreciated it. He, in fact, made ME feel more comfortable about it all! So I can safely say I like him lol, he's pretty high on the list. Racheal was quieter, but I could just sense that she probably usually wasn't. Well, being out of her normal environment and meeting all new, scary people for the first time (emphasis on scary) has got to be difficult. I hope she had a good time, it was really good getting to meet her. Both of them. And I'm glad my best friend's choosing nice friends!! They seem really cool.
It really was a busy weekend, filled with little sleep and sadly, little family time. But that's ok, I promised them we'll spend more time together in 2 weeks when I come home for October break. I got to see RPI though, which was really big and a really nice campus. And Heather's room was cool. Her side is much more colorful than her roommate's. Job well done, Heather! Then I chatted with Mr. and Mrs. Bowman, mostly Mrs. Bowman. Then I went to my cousin's birthday party where I sat around staring at the clock, and then I came home and Heather, Shane, Matthias, and Steve came over to watch movies. It was a nice, relaxing evening, and I got to be massaged by Matthias and hugged by Steve. Well, technically, I hugged Steve. I owed him for the excellent massage he gave at Crystal Ristaurante. It was sooooooo goooooooooood....... I'm starting to fall asleep just remembering! Thanks, Penith Man!
Lol, massaging Derek, then moving aside quickly and having Steve massage Derek, and seeing Derek's look of pure enjoyment suddenly turn to pure shock and disgust... That really topped off the end of a great Friday evening lol.

2 Weeks and counting...
