Ok, well in all actuality it's really probably something like Part 215, but anyway...
I dreamt of Amsterdam last night. Heather was there, and Shane, Marc, Matthias, Bri, Krista, Janaye, Alex, Steve, Nate Becker for some reason lol, and Ben Marsh, for some other odd reason, were all there. I came back to visit, hopped off a bus into a crowd consisting of the above named people, and we had a reeeeally awesome night. And then my best friend came in, and I expected words of advice or encouragement, but she said she was homesick instead and she was so happy we were all together, it was like Christmas, and we just criiiiiiied. It was really emotional, I'm surprised I woke up with dry eyes. But I felt sort of rejuvenated by that dream, as if it had been real. It's the first time I've really dreamt since coming to Keuka.
Maybe the reason I was finally comfortable enough to dream was because of the chat I had with Tiffany right before bed lmao. We were sitting up talking, and suddenly... she cut the cheese. Oh, boy, did she cut the cheese!! That one was awesome!!! And she sat there with the covers pulled up to her face, smiling devilishly, and giggling. I couldn't help but feel comfortable. It's not everyday you find people who are comfortable enough to fart in public. She reminded me a lot of my buddies from home lol. Specifically Marc and Nany lol. So from that point on we began farting our faces off. Or asses, whatever. I think she's seriously got me topped. I took a video of my room, equipped with commentary... "And that's Tiffany, my roomie... she farts." And then tonight when Annie and Amanda came in, they immediately pointed out that we were living in a stench. Wow, we'd grown so accustomed to our own fart "brands" (compliments to Austin Powers 3), we didn't even realize how bad the odor was lmao! So I sprayed the Febreeze, but even that didn't really kill it. I have the window open and the fan going now. Hopefully that should do it.
I've got a bet going now with Tiff that she can't go a whole day without telling a story about her boyfriend. So tomorrow we'll find out. I know she can't do it lol. I'm totally sure of this. But if by some miracle she does manage to go the whole day, then the next time we order out I'll pay for her share. Lol, she won't make it.
She broke the papertowel dispenser in the bathroom. I hope we won't all have to pay dorm damage lol. But I really don't care, I just think it's awesome that she just got so energetic that she jammed the knob down, and some piece inside snapped off lolol. Now the knob won't go down at all, and it's totally awesome. We're not telling.
So yeah, sittin' up watching Chicago, eatin' some cheese, and 'fluffing' in the pinkest, stinkiest room on campus. 221's got it made lol. I played Apples to Apples tonight with Tiff, Annie, and Amanda. They're such Apples to Apples people!! They were like hysterical just looking at what was on the cards! And no one was putting in anything that actually went lol. That's my kinda game lol. Oh, my God, the more you get to know people the more unique they start to become. Annie, for example, has the reflexes of a lioness! She spots a fly, and she just has to run up and smack it, and the thing is dead--instantly. Not a flicker. Not a twitch. And she does this a lot lol. She's just really really cool in that way. She walks kinda tough-like, too, kinda reminds me of Dee. Except about a foot taller lol. I wouldn't mess with her in any way, shape, or form. She's really, really nice though. Dedicated to what's important to her, especially friends, and I've noticed that with her friends from back home. So hopefully I'm making good decisions about who I get close to and open my world to. I dunno. I'm just glad I'm on her side right now lolol. Then Amanda, oh, man, she tells the most hilarious random stories EVER. Can you guys picture Rose from the Golden Girls??? And the other 3 are sitting there listening? (All right I'll be the short old lady lol). Well, that's kinda what it's like when Amanda tells stories of good ole Seneca Falls. I like the story about her midget friend with a Mohawk who is communist lol. And then just tonight, I wasn't exactly listening completely, when I heard her say something along the lines of, "so every time he eats chicken his one nipple gets larger..." WTF??? LMAO!! Well, then she went into this spiel about how chicken makes your breasts bigger, and I totally could use that btw, but we just all died. Oh, man, we cried lmao. This was over our dinner, mind you, and I couldn't even catch my breath. And she's totally serious about this story!! That's what I love about Amanda! Annie: "Watch out for your kids, the next generations gonna be a busty one!" And I guess that moment just really marked the first time the four of us had sat down and had just a normal, fun joke. Breasts are now referred to as Cluck Clucks, for example lol. And in order to get the other girls out of their room and down to ours to play Apples to Apples, Tiff and I ran down the hallway like chickens, clucking lolol. Ok, so it looked funny. But girls just wanna have fun, and that works for us. We also fart in public. Don't be scared, you guys know me lol. It just felt good to have my first real joke that will last a while with strange, new people who are everyday little by little beginning to feel a bit less strange.
And I lay torn at night. It seems the more fun I have with them, the longer my phone conversations are with Nany or Shane, or Marc, whoever happens to call on a particular evening. Nany's at this point of saying hello to them when she's on the phone with me lol. Maybe she'll come out and visit, I dunno. But at night, I just fall asleep thinking about my real friends and thinking these new people couldn't possibly measure up to what I've got, as scattered across NYS as they may be. And they really don't. I don't think they ever could. How does one open up her heart and let people see who she really is when she doesn't know them??? Is it bad to feel guilty when you have a good time... I just wanna go home sometimes. And other times, I wanna block home out so that I can get to know this new strange life. I just miss the real one so much more...
Girlscouts theme, everybody: Make new friends, but keep the old; one is silver and the other's gold! A circle is round, it has no end; that's how long I want to be your friend!
I can't wait for homecoming! I hope everyone enjoys their new classes and teachers, and I hope the 2005-2006 school year is a sweet one for you all. Please just don't forget about me. I'm here. I'm thinking of you. I just can't see ya. But feel free to talk!!! You know the sn, my cell number's in my info, my email is shortcake3131987@yahoo.com So, if I suspect that you're not keeping in touch, I swear to God, I will hunt you down and eat your firstborn... Well, I'll eat your cheese at least.
