Winnie is taking a nap, and I have the chance to update. Things are *coming along* with her I suppose. She now knows: sit, shake and 'other paw'. The housebreaking is a definite task. Her new thing is that she goes to the door *when she wants to* and jumps against the door when she needs/wants to go out. At least it's progressing.
Anyway, this weekend was short, but ok. Brian got out of work early on Friday morning, and we took a long nap (too long) and went to the gym on Langley AFB. That night, we went to dinner at El Azteca, because it's so delicious!! Then we walked around the mall for a while because Brian wanted to check out the latest fashions. We ended up getting some protein powder at GNC, because we love that stuff.... and we're such health freaks and all. Saturday we slept in (7:30am) and made breakfast, watched a movie and spent the day outside because the weather was halfway decent. The commissary is so crazy. We go there every saturday- and it's always so crowded. People park their two carts like on either side of the isles and give you dirty looks when you move the carts to get in the isle. Brian has duty today. The weather kind of sucks, figures.... being the first day of spring and all. But, i'm going to get some cleaning done and some rest?? ((if winnie will let me))
I had a rude awakening when brian announced a week ago that his grandmother would like us to go to a condo she's renting on the beach in DE. Reluctently, i agreed... despite the fact that she flat out tried to ruin our wedding, then talked bad about me the following months after the wedding. Anyway, Brian and I decided that we're not going there because of the puppy. The condo most likely doesn't allow dogs. Even if they did, the car ride would be too long for her. So, his grandmother is coming here on her way down instead *sigh* I don't know how I'm going to stand this. I'll try though...
