Been a while...
I'm about five weeks out from my first tri of the season (an Olympic distance one too) at Kingscliff and I am feeling really not confident about it at all. Have not been in the pool for a couple of weeks and I'm currently feeling like my head is about to explode and I sound like Patty/Selma from The Simpsons. Very sexy I know. Pretty sure this is from my boozey night out last weekend for a hen's night. Naughty sailors themed.. was fun, skanky but drank more than I wanted too... yikes.
Europe is set in motion. Anny paid a deposit on a flight over there for the end of November so if I can get the money together for that then I'm off to Europe! Applied for my British passport too this week so hoping there are no issues with it. So it's actually happening... no idea if I'll have enough money for it but I'm not too concerned.. it'll work out. I'll do anything for work... but I won't do that.
Been trying to be good with my money however the other week I bought the following from Urban Outfitters (plus a few other basic items + things for Jake):
Bow-tie necklace.
Asos about a month ago:
Chino pants - they're a bit big but will get them tailored in.
Obviously my legs are not that long so is not that short... ! But it is short and an awesome coral colour. I wish I got it in another colour because it's so comfy.
So hopefully my shopping fix is done until I go OS... so excited to actually walk into ASOS and be in awe of all the awesome clothing available... when I actually have money.
This weekend I am doing nothing but rest. I'm starting to feel worse now as the day is drawing to a close. My head is feeling heavy and my throat is burning. Training this morning was pretty tough so glad I didn't pass out especially as we were on wind-trainers. Tomorrow morning I have a cycle/run sesh so hopefully be able to get out of bed for that one. Pretty much looking forward to a cuddle from Jake tomorrow and talking to Anny about some travel plans tonight.
I've registered for Glastonbury but if anyone has any suggestions on what to do and see in Europe from say November - beginning of August, do let me know.
Have a lovely weekend x
