So yes, the rumors are true and I am in fact back in the wonderful place that is Post falls Idaho. The minute I arrived in Seattle I was happy! It was like everything was carefree now. Now I can enjoy my summer. I breathed in fresh unpolluted air and i gazed out of the window to see GREEN! Real green! Not just grass thats planted in front of the kings house! Tree's and lakes and oceans! It was exciting.
The whole trip was pretty good, I mean as good as 28 hours of traveling can be! They lost my sisters bag which kind of sucks for her but everything else went according to plan! We didnt even have to go through the annual ROUTINE check at immigration! They let us go right through! We didnt even know what to do with all that extra time! We went and had some dinner in the Seattle food court, which suprisingly had Qdoba ... (I was secretly wishing for Taco Del Mar)
We had a 6 hour layover in London though ... which actually turned out to be okay. I know I know I always say that i HATE London but this year my elementary school best friend Emillie came to the airport to say hi to me! It was AMAZING! I was sooo nervous because I hadn't seen her in so long. When i saw her though it was like we were she gained alot of weight but thats alright because she JUST had a baby! It was just so good to see her and right before she came to the airport i was watching without a trace and there was a quote on it that i wish i could remember precisely. Anyway it went something along the lines of ' Memories don't vanish they fade, and when you realize that they have faded you try to remember what they were like when you had them.' There was some inspirational stuff after that but i can't remember. Anyway so when i heard that quote my mind jumped back to Emillie and how we lost touch and didn't keep each other up to date. We sat there in starbucks for an hour and a half reminicing about all the good times. And how we were doing now! She even gave me a plane letter to take on the plane with me! Plane letters bring me back to school. Since everyone always left the country we always wrote each other plane letters! It was pretty fun.
Anyway now, i get to go to Montana for a camping trip. I HATE camping but .... camping with my family is awesome .. and we have beds so its alright :) AND FOUR WHEELERS! FUn fun fun. I won't be back till tuesday ... so then I can get to enjoy my wonderful days of communication :)
